Today you are one week old. What was life like before you were here? It is already hard to imagine. Your little face and long beautiful hands have already imprinted on my heart.
I have been here each day of your new life. Unfortunately, it won't always be so because I have to go home someday. Will you miss me?
We gave you your first bath at home today. I'm not sure you liked it too much, but as is your style, you did not protest too much. You are a sweet, quiet little girl. Yesterday, Melissa and I played dress-up and you were the fashionista. A bunny tail, a hot pink outfit and some basic black...how photogenic you are.
You and I took a 2 hour nap today and had some tummy time where you turned your head from side to side. Then we walked around, danced and I sang songs from the 60's to you. I can't remember the baby songs....I need a refresher course. What a good day we had and there will be many, many more. Love, Mimi
