It is so hard to write down in words just how much you are loved. I hope so much that you feel it everyday. Before you came along it was hard to imagine what this kind of love could feel like. I knew my whole life I wanted to be a mother. However, I never knew just how much becoming one would change my life forever. YOU have changed my life forever. My life is no longer mine. It is yours. Every day is yours and I love every minute. As we move into the next phase of our lives and welcome little Knox, I pray that you always know how much you are loved my sweet girl.
You love to play "house" downstairs with your dollies. You undress them and put their clothing in the washer and dryer. You also feed and rock them and if they are lucky you sing them sweet bedtime songs. You are very musical and love to sing and dance. Most of the time I can understand what you are singing, but other times I think you are making up your own songs.
You have become so independent lately. You are always busy doing new things and learning new tricks. You are also incredibly bossy, just like me. You know what you want and are not afraid to tell us. You are also very stubborn and will not do anything that you do not want to do unless there is some form of bribery. Your daddy and I are sure in for it, especially when you flash your sweet smile and offer to give us kisses in exchange for whatever you want.
Little Knox, you continue to grow. This week you officially kicked Hadley out of her spot on the center of my lap. There isn't enough room for her and she has to cuddle up next to me on the side. This doesn't make her happy and she continues to wiggle on my lap to try and squish you over until she can get confortable. I can't believe how active you are. Maybe I just do not remember it with your sister, but you are a very busy guy that is running out of room and fast! I feel like sometimes you are playing a rock concert in my belly. This week I felt your hiccups for the first time. We have begun the battle with Braxton Hicks as well.
