Knox | Happy Due Date - 4.10.16

Happy Due Date, Knox! My body and mind are both relieved that you came a few weeks early. I was able to skip out on the final weeks of swelling and discomfort. Also, the fact that you are happy and healthy and so am I, is much to be thankful for. Plus those snuggles are unbeatable!!

The past few weeks have been somewhat of a blur. The day's run into nights and the nights into days. For the most part you are a very good eater and sleeper. You have some fairly loud cries, and absolutely hate it when I change your diaper, but for the most part you are very content as long as your skin is touching mine. You like to lay your head on my chest, with your arms curled up under your face and feet curled up under your belly. The sweet coos melt my heart. 

You also hate the swaddle. The minute you hear the Velcro open, you throw the hands above your head and keep them there up tight. It is absolutely adorable. I go ahead and swaddle you tight with your arms out and you sleep fairly sound for s few hours at a time. 

Your sister is very proud of you as well. She loves all of the people that come by to see your brother and play with you. We also enjoy seeing all of our sweet friends and showing both of you off.
