4th of July: Happy Birthday America!!
What a great 4th of July weekend we had. You were an exceptional baby this weekend. You slept, chit chatted, snacked and played a majority of the way to and from Rolla. You helped make the 7 1/2 hour round trip venture, very easy!
On Friday we went to our cousin Kim and Rodney's house to swim in their pool. We put you in the floaty and you loved it. You kicked your feet and splish splashed around all day. You took about a 2 hour nap and then were back at it again. The little neighbor boys came over and were loving on you. They couldn't stop giggling as you gave them hi five, after hi five and kept flashing them your sweet smile. It was adorable to watch!
That night we had a bonfire and s'mores. You loved it. Shortly after dark Uncle Ben and Uncle Chuck put on a display of fireworks...but you didn't make it that late. You were ready for bed and you slept right through the loud bangs! Maybe next year you will get to actually see some fireworks!
On Saturday we celebrated Pipers 6th birthday with a big celebration farm style. All the Bahrs came out for a delicious bbq. You loved playing on the blanket in the backyard and waving at everyone.
You are such a sweet baby. You snuggled with everyone and gave lots of kisses and smiles. You even fell asleep in your great grandpas arms when you went to visit him. Great Grandma Burt said that you are the talk of the nursing home :)
So happy we were able to share our little piece of heaven with our family who lives so far away. You bring so much happiness to our world!
