8 MONTHS!

You are such a happy baby. You squeal and smile with delight every time anyone comes into the room. Even strangers comment on how happy you are. You are learning to pull up on things. You love to crawl around the house and climb over the top of us when we are hanging out in bed. You like for us to stand you up beside the couch while you hang on for dear life. You are learning to be more mobile and you are very proud of your new "standing" skills. So proud you try to clap for yourself while you are standing and end up tumbling backwards. Good thing daddy is always there to catch you!

You want to be in the middle of everything. You are always wiggling around in our arms to try and see or touch something. Your head is on a swivel. You have learned to patty cake and give hi fives. It is adorable!! You also say momma and dada all the time and squeal with delight when we are around. I think you are beginning to realize who we are! 

You also have a ton of funny faces. You love to stick your tongue out. In the past few weeks it has been out non-stop! You are always making some type of funny face or noise in order to get a reaction out of those around you. You are so silly.

You have mastered the skill of picking up food and putting it in your mouth. We started trying to teach you how to feed yourself with little banana puffs. You struggled at first, because you would swipe your hand across them and move them around instead of actually picking them up. Then when we would take you out of your hi chair, it would be covered in misdirected food. What a difference a month makes. Now nothing misses your mouth. :)

Each day we count our blessings and thank The Lord that we were blessed with you. You change every single day and we are trying to enjoy each day as it comes. Time is flying by too fast!
