Dr. McHadley Stuffins
You discovered one of your Birthday presents this week so I decided to go ahead and give it to you. After all you were begging for it and obviously knew exactly what it was! Your new Dr Checkup Kit!
Everyday morning and night, you find your first patients and give them a thorough check up. You ask us to lay down and you pull a pillow off of the couch. Or if you are in our bed, you give Callie and checkup and thoroughly inspect her, naked of course!
Complete with shots: which are usually give in your mouth, a tongue depressor: ...sayyy ahhhhhhh..., knee reflexes: which consists of your beating our knees and legs and giggling until we kick, a thermometer: which takes your temperature in random spots each time, and a heart beat test: which lights up and makes a heart sound.
You have also been checking up on me and making sure my belly is feeling better. We are rounding out 13 weeks and so the First Trimester has passed, only 2 more to go. My little belly is staring to show a little. We have shared the news with all of our friends and family, which was a big secretive weight off of our shoulders. I am starting to feel a little better. These past 7 weeks have been very different and rough to say the least. Lots of growing pains, sciatic nerve and back pain, vertigo and nausea. These were all things that I didn't experience with you, but have been dealing with.
Hadley has started to call me a girl and then point to my belly and call it a boy. I don't know if she is right or not, but we will find out in a few weeks! Jared and I feel like it is a girl, but this pregnancy has been so different, I can't help but think in the back of my mind this little one might be a boy. Either way this little bun has given me a harder pregnancy by far than little H ever did and I am starting to really get excited with anticipation. Hadley definitely knows something is changing, because she has turned into a total mommas girl and is stuck around my neck (yeah, not my leg, she wants me to hold her while she has both arms around my neck) like glue 24/7. She will not let me out of her sight!
