Labor Day in Rolla
Today was our last day in Mrs Jama's classroom. We loved Jama very much, so it is hard for us to move on, but we are very thankful for her!
Daddy and I took Friday off so we could head down to Rolla for the weekend. We packed up the car and put the Angry Bird movie on and headed southeast to see everyone!
On Friday, Adeline spent the day with us. Daddy got saddled up Cappuccino and you girls got to ride her for the first time. You were a little timid at first, but daddy held you tight and you really enjoyed it. We also have her some peaches, apples and pears while daddy took the curry comb to her hair. You though it was so funny that she slobbered and chomped on the fruit. That night you were lucky enough to have a sleepover upstairs with Tinsley. You were wound up and after an hour squeals and chatter, Aunt a crystal finally separated you. Ha!
On Saturday, we all loaded up and went to the river for the day. You had so much fun playing outside with your cousins. The water was a little colder than normal, but you enjoyed sitting on top of the raft and letting Piper, Tinsley, Owen and Lily pull you around.
You also liked throwing rocks in the water and acting like a big fished jumped. :)
That afternoon, after lunch, you all helped gather up sticks so we could make s'mores!! Nothing like roasting s'mores over a fire. Yummm!
The weather was beautiful this weekend. Knox, you enjoyed lots of snuggles with all of the Rolla family. I would say it was a very successful first trip. You didn't cry much on the way down and enjoyed looking at yourself in the mirror and playing with your toys!
