Sept 6 | Hadley Goes to Preschool

I must say, I am mixed with emotions this week. I am happy that you are so smart, but I am so sad when I think that you will never be any smaller than what you are now! Today you take the next step in life and go to preschool. I have shed many tears and have gone back and forth wondering if you are ready to move up early or not...but the truth is, you are bored in Jama's class. The new kids are fresh 2 year olds and you are extremely mature for your age. On the flip side, when I went to visit Mrs Shannon's room I felt like all of the kids were so big! I worry if they will be nice to you, or if you will struggle. I stay up thinking about it and praying everything will be fine. With that being said....today is the big day, ready or not, you are going to start PreSchool! You have literally told everyone you run into over the weekend that you were going this week. You are so excited, therefore I am as well. 

Just incase I lose it, I decided it is best that Daddy takes you for your first day. Don't get me wrong, I want to be there. But let's face it, I am an emotional rollercoaster and you need some tough love and encouragement today. So as I brush your hair, put in your big girl bow and slide on your new red dress, I choke back tears knowing my sweet Hadley is growing up...and I couldn't be more proud of her!
