Knox | 7 weeks NEW

You are almost 7 weeks old. You are finally starting to sleep better at night and give your mommy a little break. You still eat every two hours during the day and cry if I am not holding you tightly against my chest. In the evenings I might get four or five hours of sleep in a row if were lucky. You're starting to get a little double chin and fill out. 

You are also the noisiest baby I have ever met. You make the loudest noises when you eat, sleep and when you're just plain awake. As I sit here and hold you you are wiggling like crazy flailing your arms and legs and head around constantly. I think you just want to be the center of attention...you sound like your Daddy already.

You're starting to get some hair is well. The back hair has not fallen out, but the tops spike of hair just keeps getting taller and taller. You hair also appears to be some sort of strawberry blonde color as well.  

I am obsessed with your little cute toes and your little sweet hands. Your sister continues to be in love with you as well. Every time she comes in the door she comes to find you and give you a big kiss hello. She's a little bit confused of the new language of Bubby and Sissy. She sometimes gets confusing cause you her sissy. It is so cute. She always kisses your hands and your feet in the top of your head and always tries to sneak in a kiss on your mouth but she usually gets caught. She has the sushing down pat and it likes to sit next to you and put your paci in your mouth and make the noises to help you go to sleep. When you reach out and try to grab her if she thinks it is adorable and says mommy Knox is trying to hold my hand. 

It is so cute how you have perfected the blue steel look. You're resting face is your little lips pursed together so perfectly in your deep blue eyes staring deeply into mine. It is so cute.

Your neck is so strong as well. While you lay on my chest, you hardly wobble at all anymore as you look from side to side and basically just stare up and look into your mommy's eyes. It melts my heart. Especially when you wrap those little fingers around my finger and won't let go. Also when I try to put you down at night your hands are squeezing tight on my shirt so I have to peel them off of me to put you into bed. 

Knox Wilder, I love you with all of my heart. I never thought I could love someone as much as I love your sister but from the moment I saw you I completely adore you,you little handsome man. I swear every day you become more and more of a mama's boy and I wouldn't want it any other way...but you need to lay off the gas. It is awful. It is some of the most worst smelling gas I have ever smelled in my life and you continue to bless me with it every single day. Ha!
