Knox turn five months this week! I can't believe my little bitty baby has gotten so big. This week he also has learned to roll over! The first time we noticed this was when I went to get him out of his crib on Saturday morning. He had rolled completely over on his back and was cooling and making all kinds of noises to let his daddy and I know that he was awake. When I walked into his room he had such a huge smile on his face because he was so excited with what he had just accomplished. This evening when I got home I put him under the play mat and he quickly it rolled over to show me his new trick. Once I rolled him back over on his belly he did it again almost instantly this time followed by a big smile and a deep belly laugh.

His sister is also excited about his accomplishment. She lays down on her belly and says I can roll over to it continues to roll all over the living room floor. It seems like just like yesterday she also was learning how to roll over and I was cheering in excitement about her new found skill.

This weeks Knox also tried peas for the first time and sweet potatoes and he loves them. When I tried apples this week he shuttered, gagged, stuck out his tongue and gave some awful faces to let me know that he was definitely not interested. Maybe next week will introduce fruits again but for now he's a veggie kind of guy. Hadley's first food was carrots and she loved them so it is no surprise that it might run in the family for the preference of veggies over fruits

Hadley is also excelling wildly through her classes. She is so excited that they are starting to introduced her into the pre-K classroom. I am really sad to leave Miss Jama's class but I know she is ready to move up. Every day when she comes home she tells us I'm moving up mama I'm going to preschool! She is just as excited as I am but I am I so sad to think that this phase is over. It is in due time though because all of her friends have moved up into other pods within the Montessori school and she is one of the last ones to shift to the big kids classroom. I have noticed that she has started to regressed a little bit and it's become a lot more wild in the last couple weeks running around and screaming loudly like the newly two-year-old boys do in her class. It's just so hard to leave Miss Jama because she has been so great to Hadley. She is truly a blessing of patience and outpouring love that has been great for my little Hadley's mind.

Little Knox is also such a ham bone. Most days he won't even finish all of his milk because the ladies say he won't stop smiling at them to drink. He obviously is getting enough because he doesn't cry because he's hungry but they've had to take him into the other room with the other kids are sleeping to feed him to help minimize distractions. They also told me that they won't even look at him in the eyes when they feed them because if they do he gives them a huge smile and milk goes everywhere. It is the same story at home but I can't bear not to look into those beautiful blue eyes of his and just melt from the inside out with love for such a little handsome guy that I have created.

Hadley has a new saying when she wants to get our attention. Before she would say "mom and dad" constantly over and over when she wanted to get both of our attention at one time. This is something that's new, usually she just direct towards one of us but now she says "parents listen, parents listen". It must be something she's picked up at school but it is so hilarious I want to die laughing all the time.

Hadley has also learned how to recognize letters and write the first letter of her name H. She gets so excited when she sees an H whether it's on TV on signs or anywhere she loves to point it out and talk about it it is so cute. Right now she has started to learn to recognize the letters of peoples names in our family. She knows that M is for mommy and Mimi, she knows that P is for Papa, D is for daddy, and R is for Rah-Rah. We have also started to learn that A is for Ava and Angela, C is for Charlie and Crystal and T is for Trevor and Tinsley. These have taken a little bit longer for her to learn but they are definitely within her grasp for the next month. When she hits pre-K the alphabet is going to come so easy to her it is crazy!.

At night when I put Hadley in bed or when Jared does she loves to sing and scream and just talk to herself and play and do whatever she wants to do underneath her covers. We hear the wildest noises and the funniest stories and things that she says well she is in bed at night it is so cute. Some nights I just lay there in my own bed and listen to the monitor and watch her because her imagination is just running wild!
